I was born in Malaysia and moved to Australia when I was 6. I found it really hard to fit in culturally, felt like i was always a follower and could never keep up with the 'cool kids'. It was only in my 20s that I started building the confidence to be myself, to be a bit weird and realise that was OK. That has led me to my current path which is a dedication to lifelong health and wellness, personal growth and self mastery.
Most significant event was motorbike accident 2011. 6 fractured vertebrae, 2 spinal surgeries, out of work 1 year - then getting a desk job, being stiff and uncomfortable all day, expected to survive on painkillers and antidepressants... i was in a pretty dark place. This led me to searching for new options and beginning my career path into massage, health and wellness.

Regular massage, exercise and stretching helped me to become pain free after my motorbike accident. Since then I've been working with the model that the more I learn, the more i can help myself, and in turn help others.
After my injury, with chronic pain and limited functionality - i spent a lot of time not knowing if I'd ever be able to feel good or pain-free again. I had no idea who to turn to or how to help myself. I was referred to physiotherapists who got me back on my feet again, but it was not enough to kickstart the process of taking responsibility for my health and wellness.

My purpose is in helping people who deal with any level of pain, discomfort, or limited functionality - to help people to take charge of their health and wellness to work towards having a body which is pain-free, feels good and is highly functional.
