I was never an active child and my previous job as an accountant further contributed to my sedentary lifestyle. In 2018, I was pregnant with my first child. As a first-time mum, I read through heaps of pregnancy books. While they give out different parenting advice, they agree on one thing: MOVEMENT is beneficial. I signed up for my first Pregnancy Pilates class. Realizing the benefits of movement in my body, I continue practising Pilates throughout my pregnancy and after birth. Since then, movement has become a big part of my life. I love it so much that I went ahead to be certified as a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor! In 2021, I discovered Airspace and fell head over heels for their training method. I got my first pull-up (which I never thought was possible) from their upper body-focused Air Supremacy class. I’m also very passionate about flexibility training. With the right training method, I achieved my front splits, middle splits, waterfall, and needle scale in a relatively short amount of time. I’m very motivated and passionate to share this training method with you. If you are intimidated because you are new to fitness, don’t worry! I was there too and can relate 100%. The most important thing is to just get started!
